Certified recyclability: DECOMAB and DECOLINE packaging films ready for 2030 requirements
Certified recyclability: DECOMAB and DECOLINE packaging films ready for 2030 requirements

The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR 2025/40) introduces strict recyclability requirements: by 2030, only packaging classified A-C (minimum 70% recyclable) will be allowed on the EU market. Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) fees will be linked to recyclability performance.

Our DECOMAB and DECOLINE ranges already meet these standards.

Interzero "Made for Recycling" certification

Both product lines hold Interzero certification, based on testing by the Fraunhofer Institute (IVV) and bifa Umweltinstitut methodology, compliant with DIN EN 13430 and ZSVR minimum standards:

  • Decoline: 19/20 points — classification "Very Good"
  • Decomab: 17/20 points — classification "Good"

DECOMAB is the first barrier shrink film achieving high mechanical performance without crosslinking — patented and non-irradiated.

A growing packaging market with stricter rules

The European flexible packaging market is projected to reach €76.54 billion by 2035, at 3.75% CAGR (source: Towards Packaging, December 2025).
But access to this growth depends on compliance. Producers working with certified recyclable solutions today are positioned to benefit. Those relying on non-certified materials risk higher EPR fees and market restrictions.
